How Stop Autofill handles (and does not handle) your data

Summary

Stop Autofill is designed to run locally in your browser. It does not collect or transmit personal data.

No personal data collection
No form values, passwords, addresses, or other typed input are collected or sent anywhere.
No tracking
No analytics, ad tracking, fingerprinting, or telemetry.
Local-only storage
Your rules and settings are stored in your browser using extension storage APIs. Stop Autofill does not operate any servers to receive this data.

What the extension stores

Only what is required for functionality, such as:

Rules you create
Site rules, page rules, and element selectors used to disable autofill where you choose.
URLs / origins associated with rules
For example: the site origin or page URL where a rule applies.
Preferences and counters
Default behavior toggles and optional “forms blocked” counters.
What it does NOT store
Stop Autofill does not store form contents, passwords, credit card numbers, names, email addresses, or anything you type into websites.

Sync across devices (optional)

Stop Autofill may store rules/settings in chrome.storage.sync. If you are signed into your browser and have sync enabled, your browser vendor may sync this data across your devices.

Important clarification
Stop Autofill does not run a sync server. Sync (if enabled) is handled by your browser account provider (Microsoft/Google).

Deletion

You control your data.

Clear rules anytime
Use Settings → “Clear All Rules” to delete saved rules.
Remove the extension
Removing the extension deletes its local data from that browser profile.
